Photo Competition 2007

We've decided to reopen the photo competition this year and make it a little more fun and casual.  We are no longer requiring slide film.  entries can be from above and below the water.  Now you can submit digital or film pictures from any kind of device.  Basically if you can take a picture with it you can you can enter the competition!  The goal is to share tips and tricks while  Here's the rundown.

The Basics

Each competitor can submit three pictures from each KCFC or MDC dive.  There will not be any set category for each dive.  Anything above and below the water is fair game.  You can take a picture of whatever you like as long as it is taken during the dive weekend.  Catch that elusive bass, deer in the forest, or your fellow sleepy camper!     

The Judging

At the next dive meeting each competitor will be allowed to submit three pictures from each scheduled KCFC or MDC dive event that occurred since the last meeting.  All submissions must be in 4" x 6" prints.  Please place your name on back of each photo.  Each dive weekend will get it's own vote.  Judging will occur by ballot submission from all present at the next meeting.  The only prize is the envy of your fellow divers! In addition, the winning photo(s) will be posted in the KCFC Photo Gallery.
